Donations
The goals and objectives of the Arizona Pioneers’ Home have been, and continue to be, enhanced by the generous donations of benevolent benefactors. This has been done in a variety of forms—the first donation the home received was that of the donation of land the Home is built upon by Frank M. Murphy in 1909. Since this time, others have made donations of land, monies, equipment, supplies and rummage sale items (which are forwarded to the Arizona Pioneers’ Home Foundation).
You may designate how your donation may be used; i.e. resident activities, upgrading equipment or the decor of the Home, to recognize staff, to support the Arizona Pioneers’ Home Foundation, etc. The Home has a Special Donations account established with the State Treasurer for the deposit of monies received from residents, private citizens, inheritance, etc. The Home also has an Employee Recognition Fund for monies donated to show gratitude to the Home’s employees. Contact the Home at (928)445-2181 if you would like to make a donation. Thank you letters are available for tax purposes.
